| Homework |

Students should work on Kindergarten skills for 10 minutes twice a week. Occasionally, written homework and special projects will be sent home. Look in the weekly newsletter for reminders and ideas. Each child will be given a Homework folder. Please check the folder nightly, remove all papers, and send all notes/papers back to school in it. |
| Sight Words |
|
Children should be able to read our Kindergarten sight words. This means that they should read them automatically and not sound them out. See the link for the list of words to practice. |
| Reading At Home |
|
Look for our class books that come home. Please read these books with your child over 1-2 nights and return them. Paper copies of books we've already read in class will be sent home to reread. Don't forget to read to and with your child nightly! |
