Welcome to first grade! I look forward to spending this year with your child and watching him/her experience this wonderful time of growth.
First grade is an extremely important year in your child’s education. This year your child will spend his/her days working on reading and comprehending, writing narratives, nonfiction, and opinion writing pieces, exploring strategies for addition and subtraction, and making new friends. I am looking forward to sharing these successes and accomplishments with you and your family.
