Routines |

Our day starts with our Morning meeting, greeting and calendar activities. We do journal writing daily, reading, math, Fundations, science, social studies, specials, and activity areas. We have a daily snack and drink. Most important we have lots of fun learning! |
| Book Clubs |

Book club orders go home monthly. If you choose to order books, please make checks out directly to Scholastic Books or order on line. |
| Birthdays |
|
|
We make birthdays very special days in our classrooms by making a birthday crown to wear, singing Happy Birthday and making a birthday class book.
|
| Snack |
|
|
A healthy breakfast and lunch are a great way to start each kindergarten day! A school snack should be quick, yet nutritious. A drink that your child can open by him or herself and a nutritious snack. |
| Communication |
|
|
I send home a monthly letter that will keep you informed of classroom objectives and all important events going on. Your child will be bringing home notes and papers in a folder that will need to be returned to school the next day. If you would like to contact me, please feel free to call me, send an email, or write a note. I feel that the home -school connection is essential for your child's success. |
| Homework |
|
|
Please read to your child daily or have your child read to you. Special Show and Tell themes will be announced. Please review and go over concepts that we are working on in that classroom and our kindergarten sight words.
